Request a Virtual Library Card

A Virtual Library Card grants access to our online digital resources ONLY, which include Libby eBooks and audiobooks, NC Kids and NC Level up, and NCLive and its databases. To register for a Virtual Library Card, please complete the form below. It will take approximately 2-4 business days to process your request. You will receive email confirmation of your virtual card. Please remember to check your email spam folder, as emails can sometimes be sent there in return.

Any Johnston County resident or person eligible to obtain a Virtual Card should follow the library’s Circulation Policy. These cards will expire one year from the date created.

If you need immediate assistance with our digital resources or access to physical materials, please do not submit this form: instead, visit your local library to obtain a traditional library card.

Students and staff of Johnston County Public Schools and Neuse Charter School do not need to register for a Virtual Library Card, as they should already have a Student Access account. Visit www.pljcs.org/studentaccess for more information.
